Boutique "Hotel Indigo" Established in Anaheim

A Hotel Indigo was recently opened near Disneyland at 435 W. Katella. This boutique hotel was converted from a Holiday Inn with a $5 Million investment. There are a lot of hotels in the area but this one simply stands out from the crowd and will catch your eye.

The entire property was very clean and inviting. Parking is plentiful with an underground parking garage.

I spoke to the staff who were quite friendly. One front desk clerk took the time to answer my questions about the property.

The public area of the hotel is very comfortable. This seating arrangement looks out to Katella and allows for some prime people watching opportunities.

The Chambers Bar & Bistro connects the lobby to the pool area. Some people were eating breakfast right outside and enjoying the fresh morning air. Very relaxing environment to read the morning paper and plan your day at Disneyland or the Anaheim Convention Center, both in walking distance.

Pictured below is a loft which overlooks the lobby. The furniture has that mid-century mod feel. Very cool hang out space.

The desk clerk took the time to show me a room. The wallpaper represents Anaheim's farming history. I would definitely hang my hat here for the night.

This hotel really is an awesome addition to Anaheim's resort district. The reviews on Tripadvisor look pretty good, so it looks like this hotel development is a winner.
